Facilities Support
The federal government manages over 25 million acres of federal land requiring mission critical support through its facilities and infrastructure systems. In addition, the government acquires approximately 2,500 acres each year. Zia provides these facilities and operations services throughout the United States for the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility and utility infrastructure systems. These services require an integrated strategy to meet the needs of fully functioning support facilities. Primary services provide a broad scope of abilities to include:
Utility Systems - maintenance, repair, inspection and testing and return of the systems to operational status including continuous operations, start-ups, shut-downs and re-starts, diagnosis and analysis of failures and deficiencies, trouble-shooting and isolation of faults (electrical power and distribution systems; water/wastewater treatment systems; natural gas distribution systems; and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, fire suppression and emergency response).
Maintenance Programs - design, maintenance, repair and construction of building systems including mechanical, structural, pest control, custodial/janitorial, roofing and roofing drains, wall surfaces (interior/exterior), stairways (interior/exterior), lighting (interior and exterior), lightning protection and grounding, cafeteria and food preparation areas; fences, elevators, special use doors, loading docks, storage yards, pathways, canopies, etc.
Infrastructure Systems - design, maintenance, repair and construction including roadways, parking lots, erosion and drainage control structures; grounds and landscaping systems; fuel dispensing systems.
Preventive Maintenance - long-range analysis, management and maintenance of buildings, equipment and materials (process implementation/scheduled) and associated records.
Logistics Services - maintain supply, equipment, receiving, disposal, transportation, moving, mail distribution service functions, freight traffic management, real property accountability, furniture moves, functionality and capability of the Emergency Notification Systems.
Management and Documentation Systems - maintain process diagrams, work procedures, and work instructions, GIS/ACAD drafting, technical libraries (hard copy and digitized).
Environmental Compliance - compliance, remediation, restoration, pollution prevention, and conservation activities, ISO 14001 certifications.
