Zia maintains comprehensive computer network and dedicated data lines and servers
with latest hardware equipments and several types with up-to-date software resources
to support the integration of complex field data with highly defensible documentation.
Zia engineering has various Resources/software applications and design and analysis
packages for the design, drafting, GPS, GIS, CAD and management. Some example
of software supported
includes:
- AutoCAD with several package for the design, drafting, and management of a wide
range of civil engineering project types such as AutoCAD Land Desktop, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Survey and AutoCAD Raster Design
- ArcGIS / ArcView with several Analyzers
- WaterCAD for Water distribution modeling and management
- Resources/software applications for Water & Wastewater Systems Analyses
- Several types of mapping applications that has statewide/north America topographic coverage
- Microsoft Systems and office products
- Adobe full standards software applications
In addition Zia engineering maintains large-format printers/copiers to handle the production requirements necessary
for meeting our Client's report production needs. Zia has the equipments that provide sub-meter accuracy GPS measurements and professional surveyor on staff equipment for field investigations and data collection.
Field crews are also equipped with communications tools to ensure reliability in
meeting project requirements and scheduling.
Zia has the capability for full electronic field data collection and processing
including digital cameras, mobile field computers, handheld GPS units, traditional
survey equipment and other electronic and digital data collection systems. Zia also
maintains a full cadre of traditional field equipment for field investigations and
data collection, including screens, hand excavation equipment, archaeomagnetic sampling
equipment, materials testing and sampling equipment and all necessary safety gear.
Field crews are also equipped with cellular phones to insure prompt communication
and reliability in meeting project requirements and schedules.
